Ali Safavian, the vocalist of the group is the initiator of this project. Together with two other musicians, with Iranian roots but with different musical backgrounds, he has put together a program of Persian songs in which elements of jazz, classical, bossa nova and flamenco can be heard. With this music they know how to move Persian-speaking audiences and at the same time present fascinating music for every music lover.
The program mainly consists of nostalgic music from the 1960s-1970s of Iran, a period in which a large number of quality songs were produced, which are still loved by a large audience in Iran, despite the ban on that music by the current Iranian regime. One of the artists of that period was Viguen, the famous "Iranian jazz king". He first brought the guitar and Western sounds to Iran in the 1950s. He tastefully combined this with Persian poetry and song ornamentation, leaving behind a large repertoire of songs, some of which are included in this programme.
